SOUTHLAND - With the buzzing urban metropolis of Queenstown; the close-knit communities of Clyde, Gore, Arrowtown, Alexandra, Roxbrugh; Lumsden; Te Anau, Winton, and Mataura just to name a few. The rolling hills and pastures of Central Otago farming country, and everything in between - Southland embraces all the very best of urban and rural New Zealand.

Our videos are part of this MISSION. When the elections roll around again, MPs must be able to look back and say to their constituents, 'here is what I've done before, and what I'll do in the future'. Our videos speak to both. While we were in Southland, the Groundswell protest brought all of rural New Zealand together. We had to respond quickly with a quick-turnaround video to support Southland's farmers, and raise awareness for a policy-affecting poll.

Our work is ITERATIVE. When we've put our work through the wringer and think it's ready to see the world - often it comes back. So throughout this project, we learned to double and triple-check. We gave Joseph options for everything - even thumbnails.
EXPERIMENTATION. Some projects make it to completion but aren't quite what the campaign needs. After finishing this trailer, the team took a step back to think. "Some utes don't need to tow a trailer."

SCREENSHOTS AND DESIGNS taken from these videos were utilised by Joseph's team as Christmas pamphlets, office murals, and social media content. Additionally, all our source footage was supplied to the National Party's stock footage catalogue.
